Imagining the history of the earth through the animals you meet in Ueno Park

The Implementation Committee for New Concept “Ueno, a Global Capital of Culture”, Arts Council Tokyo (Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture) are implementing the cultural and arts project “UENOYES” and spread the appeal of Ueno to the world, based on the theme of social inclusion in the Ueno Park and its surrounding areas.
On November 9 (Sat) and 10 (Sun), 2019, a special art event “UENOYES2019 ‘FLOATING NOMAD’” will be held at Ueno Park Fountain Square under the general producer of Katsuhiko Hibino.
Underlined by the theme “FLOATING NOMAD”, this inclusive art event is intended to become a place for interaction and learning in the open space of Ueno Park, where people from various countries and regions gather in various ways and gather as if they are nomadic people.
